Spit Rotisserie - Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit and written confirmation from Spit Rotisserie. Dates are not secured until the deposit has been received.

2. Payment Terms The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the event date. If full payment is not received by this date, Spit Rotisserie reserves the right to cancel the booking.

3. Cancellation Policy All deposits are non-refundable. - More than 60 days before the event: deposit retained - 30–60 days before the event: 50% of total fee payable - Less than 30 days before the event: 100% of total fee payable Cancellations must be made in writing.

4. Final Numbers Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the event. This number will be used for final invoicing and cannot be reduced after this point.

5. Scope of Service Spit Rotisserie will provide catering services as outlined in the agreed quotation. This includes food preparation and on-site service staff. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and tableware are not included and are to be arranged separately by the client or venue. Spit Rotisserie will coordinate with third-party hire suppliers where required but accepts no responsibility for hired equipment or externally hired staff. Service staff provided by Spit Rotisserie are responsible for food service only and do not provide full waiting or bar service unless agreed in advance.

6. Service & Logistics Spit Rotisserie will agree service times, setup requirements, and access arrangements in advance with the client or venue. The client is responsible for ensuring suitable access, Permits and space for safe operation.

7. Food Safety & Allergens Clients must provide full details of any dietary requirements or allergies no later than 14 days prior to the event. While Spit Rotisserie takes all reasonable precautions, food is prepared in a compact mobile kitchen environment where allergens, including nuts, may be present. We cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from allergens. Spit Rotisserie accepts no liability for undeclared or incorrectly communicated allergies.

8. Liability & Indemnity Spit Rotisserie holds appropriate public liability insurance and will take all reasonable care in the provision of services. The client shall be responsible for any loss of or damage to Spit Rotisserie’s equipment caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties during the event. Spit Rotisserie shall not be liable for any damage to the venue or property unless caused by proven negligence. The client is responsible for any damage, loss or claims arising from the actions of guests or third parties during the event. Spit Rotisserie’s total liability for any claim shall be limited to the total value of the booking.

9. Late Payment Full payment must be received prior to the event date. If payment is not received, Spit Rotisserie reserves the right to cancel the booking.

10. Force Majeure Spit Rotisserie shall not be liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, fire, flood, or government restrictions.

11. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
